The Museum closes at 5:00 pm, except on Thursdays when we have extended hours until 7:00 pm).

To save time, you can plan ahead and purchase your ticket online at www.cgmmuseum.org, but it is not required. Walk-ins are welcome!

You can change your ticket reservation. Please call us at 866-891-4545 to change a reservation.

The museum is self-guided, but we recommend you give yourself an hour to an hour and a half minimum. We have a lot of content, artifacts, and several other points in the museum with interactive experiences. We do have docents who are available for questions in the museum.

No food is allowed inside the Museum galleries but please stop by for refreshers, tea, and coffee drinks from the Cantinas Arts Cafe. You are welcome to bring your drinks with you through the museum.

Service animals are welcome. We welcome all service animals recognized by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Pets are not allowed.

If necessary, we can keep coats or bags during your visit.

The museum reserves the right to inspect any parcel, container, or bag brought into the premises.

Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.

No weapons of any kind allowed either concealed or in the open.

Smoking, including electronic smoking, is not permitted in the museum or on its grounds.

The Museum is committed to making its collection, buildings, programs, and services accessible to all audiences.

Although our museum is wheelchair accessible, we do not provide wheelchairs.

Visitors with disabilities may use mobility devices, including manual and electric wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and manually powered mobility aids (such as walkers, canes, and crutches) in all areas open to public pedestrian use.

The museum does have steps going down to the museum level, but we have a chair lift for those with mobility devices and wheelchairs.

Yes, strollers are welcome in the galleries, but we kindly ask that they not be left unattended at any time during your visit.

Yes, we are a family-friendly museum with something for visitors of all ages!
*As we get our kids’ program in place, we can give more specifics here.

Museum tickets are purchased for a particular day. However, if you wish to have more time, you may present your ticket up front the next day to see everything you might have missed.

Yes, there are benches at different points in the museum, and there are several in the Dove Theater Room.
